[00:11] Jasmane G.: How would you feel about seeing a Zelda game were the Sheikah tribe actually has more significance? They are quite mysterious and were practically deemed extinct in OOT.

[01:13] gpolenik: My question is would you want online co op in the next zelda i think it would be quite awesome

[02:13] WindMageMaster: Retro Studios is recruiting texture artisits to model high quality hand-painted 3D environments. They are also searching for translators for better communication with Nintendo. Do you think this could possibly mean they are teaming up with Nintendo to make Wii U Zelda...or do you think it's something completely diffrent?

[03:22] miraina: would you like armor in a Zelda game like in twilight princess?

[04:25] Icarus22: Zelda's spirit was removed from her body in Spirit Tracks and she was able to possess enemies. Doesn't that basically mean she was murdered?

[05:27] Houston S.: Skyward Sword is very light-hearted while Twilight Princess is very dark. Which type of Zelda style do you prefer?

Hyrule Historia is in stock, and we've got all the info you need! Take the jump to get your hand on this collector's item!

If you've been trying to get your hands on a copy of Hyrule Historia, then now's a great time to try your luck! Amazon Japan has been in and out of stock for the past week, and goodness knows you'll spend way too much if you try eBay. But have you considered looking into an import shop? Maybe you should give it a try!

Right now, Kinokuniya has them in stock at their New York location, but that is their only East Coast location. They do have a lost of West Coast stores, so it's likely that you could find some there, too, if you're within walking or driving distance.

You could even call them! A little Japanese might make things easier (the east coast store had a bit of trouble with English) if you are somewhat fluent. Even if you're not, call anyway. They are a great shop that really tries hard to please the customer, and they can ship Hyrule Historia to you if you are too far away to pick it up yourself.

Check out our Hyrule Historia section for purchase information. If you need addition info like ISBN numbers or if you would like to check other locations for this item, the info is all there. Good luck Zelda (and Zelda timeline) fans!

Happy Valentine's Day! Ilu loves Zelda theories and lore!

[00:14] GingerKidZach: Do you think Vaati, Malladus, and Bellum are all part of Demise's curse on Link and Zelda in the end of Skyward Sword?

[02:50] Groose Pompadour: In the Minish Cap, how old do you suppose Vaati is? Not sure if it was relevant enough to be stated anywhere. There is just so much mix matched speculations wether he's a child, adult... even a teen! No one even considered that he was a minish and perhaps the age process is a bit different.

[04:25] subscribeguy2000: Have you ever had an accident with a wiimote?

[04:44] David R.: Will you be attending any of the concerts for "Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses"? The Dallas concert was AMAZING.

[05:08] Jasmane G.: First is about Majora's mask. I know Terminia is supposedly an alternate universe, but what's up with this theory that it never happened? What I am hearing is that it was like a dream and never occured. Your thoughts?

---------- [05:51] Second, what would you think about seeing Link in an epic war battle? I know several wars have occured in Hyrule, but I would be interested in actually seeing it in a game. I don't mean a human/hylians vs human/hylians, because seeing Link kill other people is a little upsetting. I was thinking along the lines of say, Ganon (or whoever is villain at the time) conjuring up a hoard of monsters to try and overthrow the kingdom and the people of Hyrule have to defend themselves. Excuse my geeky comparison, but kind of like on Lord of the Rings with the battle at Helm's deep. Link wouldn't be leading the defending army, rather participating instead.

Somehow I like the idea of Link riding in on epona, hacking at countless of foes defending the land. Just me?

Valentine's Day is almost here! What were your Zelda gift ideas?

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, some of you may be struggling to find that perfect gift for your Zelda fan. Fear not, there are plenty of wonderful gifts that can be found all over the web, especially on the well-known site for handmade goodies, Etsy!

A cute, purple keepsake box is one of the nicer items on Etsy created by bugandboodesigns, perfect for a girl. Use it to store jewelry or as a safe place to keep that Zelda ocarina you have (or plan to get).

If you plan to be picking bombflowers for Valentine's Day, you may require this. Or maybe you just want to look cool. Either way, it's a very cool gift idea for the Zelda-collector. Mark Wengryn hand-crafted this bronze cuff bracelet with great skill.

For your Zelda fan who loves to collect little figurines, this recognizable baddie by Scotalian is a great addition to any collection. This polymer clay Octorok comes in both red and blue.

We've seen a good variety of Zelda-themed rings, but this one is new! knil, the same guy who created the awesome Hylian-crest ring, has now made a Majora's Mask themed ring! It's now available for preorder, so your V-Day gift might be a little late, but it could be worth the wait!

And of course, who doesn't want to deliver such great gifts in a very Zelda-themed fashion? You can do so with the wooden, musical chest built by HylianBazaar:

"Scupley III and Studio by Sculpey, with bright gold FIMO powder brushed on the Triforce and varnished."

Tavington from deviantART took part in a sculpture trade, and was requested to draw Link from his NES days. This little sculpture turned out great! It's cute, simple design captures the oldschool style in a unique way, and the paintjob is very well done- especially the Triforce that really does shine gold!

Tavington has also created many other fine sculptures. Kikwi from the newest Zelda title, Skyward Sword, the Deku Tree Sprout from Ocarina of Time, and even Ghirahim and Princess Zelda plushies! Tavington is an artist with a wide range of skills, so visit their deviantART page and check out the other amazing works.

[00:16] Jaqui S.: Would you ever name a pet Link Zelda or Ganon(dorf)?

[00:52] Bachakt: What are your thoughts on the new on Zelda Wii U? They said they will probably use control schemes they created for Skyward Sword that never made it to the final version.

[01:47] Jayemaye: Has any information from Hyrule Historia affected you as a Zelda fan in any sort of way? Like your views on where the games are going and stuff?

[02:57] Roggue: how do u feel when u beat a zelda game? sad happy excited?

[03:35] Last Melodie: Zelda herself always has an important role in Zelda but she doesn't always get a lot of screentime or development. In today's gaming world, I don't see any reason why she should continue to be held back from having a bigger role in the games. Even in Skyward Sword, you barely get to see her. Would you like a game where you get to play as the princess?

[05:01] WindMageMaster: What is your least favorite Zelda game?

[05:44] Larke12: Do you have all of the Zelda manga (not counting Skyward Sword)?

[06:22] Steven C.: Hi Ilu,

I was around 10 when the first Zelda game was released for the NES and I've been an avid fan ever since. I've seen the series grow and change in many ways, some that I love and some that I'd rather not have happened at all. But it is what it is, and it's remained a fine series in my eyes and holds a special place in my heart.

Do you think you will feel the same way decades from now?

Hyrule Historia, Knights of Hyrule's subsite replacement for our Hyrule Historia section, is now open and available to browse. So far, the second section of the book, "The Complete History of Hyrule," is posted. Some pages have alternate translations, and we're looking to add more as they are sent in.

We hope to have Spanish, French, Chinese, and all sorts of other translations available in the future, but for now we've got the English side of things covered thanks to various translators such as Patas, ShiKage, SnowBrigadier, GlitterBerri, and many others. Purchase information is also available for those looking to get theirs hands on the book, and we strongly recommend that Zelda fans do so in order to support the series.

So far, we already have many of page scans up and are constantly adding more. A downloadable .zip folder is available for those who want larger scans, and it will be updated as we add more images. We also intend to have the other three sections available, hopefully the next one being the official art and rough sketch section.

Ilu blabbers on about Zelda music, Hyrule Historia, reincarnation, and the evil beasts SOPA & PIPA.

[00:21] vampiremaniac90: what was the hardest Zelda game you've played (in your opinion).

[02:04-18] Jasmane G.: Ok, there has been a repeating Zelda argument going online STILL, and I am really unsure what to believe. Also I am not up to date on what Zelda news has been given lately.

Basically it's the whole annoying Vaati Ghirahim reincarnated argument. The only reason I bring this up because two different "facts" are being presented and I don't know /who/ to believe.

The argument that says Vaati is /not/ Ghirahim's Incarnation/reincarnation says that Eiji Aonuma states in an Interview that they are not connected or anything in anyway. This one I was agreeing with as I have heard it said by many fans (also I dont they look similar AT ALL but that could just be me), UNTIL a friend if mine claims to have some "official hyrule hystoria japanese book"? Now, she is fluent in Japanese (as far as I know) and she claims this book states Vaati /is/ Ghirahim's incarnation or whatever. She refuses to be deemed wrong on the account that this book is 'legit' and she spent alot on it. I am not sure to believe her as she also claims the book says things like Majora's mask was not real nor significant as well as the oracle games. I was wondering if you could shed a little light and hopefully some facts because these people are driving me crazy, arguing back and forth with me smack in the middle...

I could never agree with you more that Zelda fans hate being proven wrong. This is why I /don't/ theorize to anyone /but/ myself.

[05:21 -26] SCKnuckles: I am currently working a music list on Zelda where I discuss my top 70 zelda favorite songs and this brings up the question, which game to you has the best soundtrack?

[06:55] tallboysmith: have you played any of the reproduction fan made games like The Legend of Zelda: Outlands?
