However, in Ocarina of Time you never use that same shield. Additionally, in Wind Waker’s Hyrule there is a statue of the Hero of Time, and his shield is very different than the first one you get in Wind Waker. So, could the first shield you get in Wind Waker have once belonged to a different Link? From a different legend?
